General Stats:[/u]
Name: Vahn Isaac 'Suffering' Aquatius IV
Race: Re-Dead
Gender: (He was once male... but now... he techinally doesn't have one... but, for simplicity, he's male.)
Age: Born: 1139 Died: 1176 (He WAS 37, but, now he's dead... so I guess he's still 37. >_>)
Class: Goth Gallant
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Personal Stats:
Body Build: Tall, Average Body build. (Not hugely muscular, but not thin)
Distinguishing Features: Eyes: Clear Steel Color, Hair: Jet Black,
Markings:
An upside down black triangle under each eye, the bottom point (facing downward) continues in a thin line and stops a little lower than the mouth, Two lines that meet at a point above the Adam's Apple, extend outward to the back ends of the jaw bone, continueing up the side of the face, and then following the contour of the cheek bone (above the cheek bone, not below) continuing to the inside point of each eye, and then filling in the the area of the eye where there is no bone (Y'know... the hole where your eye is... basically, the eyelids, and the area around it, but not on the bony part around it.) The color of the chin/cheek/eye tattoo is a dark blackish, somewhat shiny green (Say.. a pine green? Not sure how to describe it exactly.) (The same green color for this tattoo): Three prongs on the chin, the one in the very center of the chin, reaching upward, stopping in the curve of the lip, two barbs stick off the center prong, there are two more prongs, one to the left, and one two the right, evenly spaced from the center barb, not more than an inch, these don't go as high up on the chin, and, the one on the right side of the chin has only one barb, wich is on the right, the left prong has one barb also, to the left, they connect with the previos tattoo, at the point above the adams apple, the line above the adams apple, thickens, and encircles the Adam's apple on both sides, then meeting again, in the middle of the throat, below the adam's apple, these continue down to the base of the throat, then split outward, along the collar bones, down the shoulders, down the front of the biceps, then back outward to the sides of the forearm, along the forearm, lines fleck outward, like veins, from the main line, and the "veins" encircle most of the forearm. When the main line reaches the wrist, it thins, and encircles the wrist, all the veins on the front and back of the hand are highlighted by tattoos. (I got a little off track there by going to the arms.) Above the eyebrows, (the hairs of which are somewhat long, and the ends hang downward) on each side there are Three squares (they lean outward, away from the center of the face, kinda like an eyebrow.) the innermost squares are the smallest, the ones directly outside of those are slightly bigger, and the furthest ones go outward as far as the eyebrows.
Clothes: (Oh boy... more describing... :B)
To make it simple, European Half plate. A breast plate, (rounded) pauldrons, gauntlets, greaves, boots, helmet. Betweent these sections of armor, there is cloth (for manuverablity). Wrapped around the right side of Isaac, is a black cloth, (much like Vincent Valentine, it goes around his neck, and reaches up, just a little lower than his nose. The cloth is wrapped around his neck a few times, before draped down over his right side. (His arm, and the front right side of his chest mainly) At the end of the cloth, it's torn and worn, from various things. There's about 3 layers of cloth, as it was wrapped around 3 times. The cloth is lined with red stiching, the red is inlaid with some silver, so it has a shine to it. There are various runes and designs on the cloth, the actual meaning of these runes and designs are forgotten, so I won't really go in to describing them. (He has a shortsword hidden under the cloth, on his right arm, turned upside down, so it can be easily pulled out.
Personality: Elloquent (and if I spelled that wrong... the irony.), Curt, and a little crazy. (He's dead... a few years of death, and alot of killing 'll do that to you.) oh, and did I mention that he radiates Suffering, being that he's died twice and all?
History: Vhan Isaac was born like any other human, in the water. His clan preforms birth in such a way, that the mother dies in the water while giving birth, this is seen as a way of purification. Water is believed to be the main source of all creation, so, by dying in the water, you leave the world, pure. The same as if you are born in the water, you are believed to be pure, for most of your life at least. Because of this, Vahn Isaac's people lived ON the water, not just water's edge, but literally on the water. They did not build rafts however, the constructed stone pillars, in the water, and began to build one large magnificent castle atop the great platform. The castle was so immense that it had housing for all those that lived there, and because the parents died when a child was born (and they always had two, a boy, and a girl) the numbers never increased, so no extra space was needed. Some may find it odd that the parents always died when their children were born, but, this happens because of the sacrifice Vahn Isaac's people made to the great water, they gave up their ability to become large in number, for the ability to control water, to an extent. Now, Isaac grew up with his sister, Lilly Aquatius. His sister had a special name, because when she was born, a Lilly petal fell onto the surface of the water beside her, the Elder named her this, for her parents were not alive to do so. It was the Elder that raised all the children at the great water palace. The Elder was the one child, designated by the water, that would live alone, and live long. Every few generations, the current Elder would die, and a new one designated years before the death of the current Elder, would take his place. With this, there was not one family that had two boys, and a girl, but rather, the new Elder, would found, lying on the beach, and would grow up, being taught everything, from when he could read, until the current Elder died. Vahn Isaac, and Lilly live a normal life, the same as all the other children; They grew up to be mature, refined, and respectful. They were always caring, and always grew to be wise. Lilly was the elder child of the two, she was eight minutes older than he, yet Vahn Isaac always strove to be like any adult, even at a young age. The two marvelled at their people's design, (the building was made in the old Gothic style), their favorite place, was the great stair, which lead to the highest point in the castle, and to the large stained glass window, depicting the history of their people, and how they aquired their water control. On both sides water ran up the walls, to the top of the arc of the roof, and fell down, infront of the stained glass window, into a large pool of water. Vahn Isaac and Lilly, lived like this for some while, learning how to act, and how to hone their powers over water. Lilly was perfect, she did everything correctly, she was the best student the Elder had. Vahn Isaac on the other hand, had trouble learning how to use his power, though he, like all others, was mature, and refined, he had a taste for the uncommon, it got him in trouble a few times, but it was nothing serious. That is, until he discovered something, while reading the archives (which is their 'library'), he discovered, that not only could they control water, they could heat it, form it, pull it apart, molecule by molecule, and even change it's chemical makeup. This wasn't taught though, they only learned how to use water to aide them, and they learned how to use it for self defense, but not in great detail. Vahn Isaac made a copy of this particular piece of information. While the sun was setting that night, Vahn Isaac left the castle, along the beach, and to a large waterfall, where his people went if they wanted to be alone. Seeing as all would be inside, eating their meals, and setting off to bed, Vahn Isaac was sure no one would be out this late. He approached the edge of the pool, and set the parchment down, unrolling it, so he could see the diagrams. At first, he tried heating, then cooling the water, this was something he already knew how to do, but he could not follow the Elder's instructions well, with this text however, it seemed as if it almost un-locked a hidden ability within him. The minute Vahn Isaac attempted to heat the water, it began to steam, and boil, he quickly tried to cool it back to normal, but in his attempt, he froze it. It seemed as if he hardly had to put effort into these things to get the extremes. He attempted a few times to get the water to normal, until he finally got it right, he then proceeded to pull water out of the pool, and move it, shape it. This was done with tremendous accuracy, the shapes were perfect, he could make the water move wildly around his body, without missing a beat. Vahn Isaac was also dead accurate when it came to hitting something with water, it was all so simple to him now. Vahn Isaac proceeded on to the next thing, pulling it apart by molecule, and changing it's chemical make-up. These two things were more difficult than the rest, though the could seperate the water with a little ease, he had to practice changing the chemicals. Vhan Isaac would pull water into the air, and seperate it into a large flat circle of beads, with that, he seperately attempted changing the chemicals of each bead, if it fell back to the water, he had failed. He worked long and hard at this, for almost two hours, until he finally got it. Vahn Isaac was on his last bead, the very center, he raised his hand, palm out, toward the bead, closed his eyes, and applied all his will toward changing chemicals. It was almost visable, tendrils almost appeared from his palm, three of them, the circled eachother as they surged toward the bead of water, the center tendril pearced right through it, and the other two we're sticking in it's sides, a black ink-like substance began to leak from the tendrils turning the water black. Vahn Isaac opened his eyes, and was horrified, he realized what he had done. It was written in the archives, that at one time, a curious man with the powers of the Aquatius people had changed the water into something so foul, that even the great waters themself condemned him. It was the greatest sin ever commited to the water, he had effectivly killed it, he had turned it into the opposite of everything water stood for, water gives life, this new gildun as it was called only took lives. Vahn Isaac did not know, that the whole time, the Elder was in one of the waterfall caves, innocently reading a scripture, when he had noticed that Vahn Isaac was outside practicing, he watched silently from the cave. When the Elder had realized what Vahn Isaac had done, he was too late, he ran screaming out of the cave, telling Vahn to stop. Vahn turned his head toward the elder, and without realizing that he was still directing the single bead of water, it began to speed toward the Elder. This little drop... this gildun landed in the Elder's mouth, and effectively drained all sources of life from him. The great waters were furious at this, a dual atrocity! Not only defiling water, but killing an Elder, unforgiveable. The sky was dark by this point, blanketed with clouds, lightning struck around him. In the center of the pool did a large pillar of that celestial energy strike, eradicating all traces of water from it. It began to rain after this. It rained in such a way, that it slowly killed Vahn Isaac, it pulled all the water, that consisted of his soul, out of him, slowly, Vahn Isaac learned Suffering from this, Suffering stuck with him after that. Once all the water in his soul was gone, the great waters allowed him to drink from the purest water, that would keep one alive, even in death. Once they did so, once he swallowed it, they pulled his dried up soul out of him again, with only enough water to mositen his insides, he was in agony, as the waters pulled his soul out again, bead, by bead. The great waters demanded he die twice, so he did, but they did not realize that Vahn Isaac was different from the beginning. Unlike the rest of his people who were almost made solely of water, Vahn Isaac was not, he came into life, almost choked to death, flailing in the water, almost dead, suffering became a part of him as he was born. Vahn Isaac used all the suffering that he had gained from being killed twice, in the process of four hours, to replace his soul. He was a being of agony, and death, yet he never went back, to kill his people for doing such a thing to him, he left them completely, for they were the only ones who could truly silence him. When he died... he under-took changes in his appearance, and changed the pigments in his skin, to create his "tattoos" with this new death-water, gildun. (From there... his story begins)
